Objective

Collect all acorns and return them to the nest to clear the level.

Avoid Harry Hawk and Sally Spider, who will damage your character.

Game Play

Use the D-pad to move Squirrelly D (player 1) and Squirrelly Deedee (player 2, requires second controller).  Collect an acorn by touching it,  and return it to the nest by touching the nest.  Only one acorn can be carried at a time.  When all acorns on the screen have been returned to the nest the level is cleared, and the players progress to the next stage.  In a two player game both players contribute to the clearing of the stage.

Periodically a peanut will appear; snag it for bonus points.

Press A to jump, holding the button longer to jump higher.  When on a straight horizontal branch, hold down on the control pad and press A to fall through.  Vertical branches and be climbed up and down by pressing the directional pad.  The mushrooms on the ground can provide a huge lift when jumped upon.

Avoid Harry Hawk and Sally Spider.  Sally is especially dangerous as she will periodically spit webs in your direction.  Enemies get slightly faster after each level clear, so be sure to keep a clear head!

Collecting an acorn is 10 points

Returning an acorn to the nest is 100 points
